The Mahant Jamanadas Maharaj,Art’s, Commerce and Science College, Karanjali , was established in 11 July 2009 by Sahyadri Shikshan Mandal’s, Dindori. The college is a grant-in-aid and unaided institution and affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The college is offering 3 year duration undergraduate degree programs viz., Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Chemistry and Botany specializations; Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Marathi, History and Economics, specializations, and B.Com with Marketing Management specializations.
The college is also providing Nursery Development Career Oriented Certificate course facility for the students of this college collaborated with BAIF. The college aims to provide educational facilities to the tribal, economically backward and rehabilitated project affected students. The major objective of this college is to encourage and motivate these classes for intellectual, moral, social and academic growth, to impart education while motivating them to seek higher education.
The college campus (5 Acres) is dotted with lush green trees and shrubs all around. It has a most picturesque and inviting atmosphere. The college is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. At present the college has 23 teaching and 9 non-teaching administrative staff. Karanjali is a place in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. By road it is 45 kms from the town of Nashik and 160 km from Wappi.
