The Competitive Exam Cell was established in the academic year 2012-13. Initially, various resources and information related to competitive exams were made available for college students on the notice board through “Prashnmanjusha (Quiz)” and updates on current events from newspapers.
To support students in their career aspirations, various expert speakers were invited to deliver lectures and provide guidance on different competitive exams such as MPSC, UPSC, IBPO, and Postal Services. Faculty members of our institution actively participate in mentoring students for these exams.
Since its inception in 2012-13, Mr. R.M. Gavali and Mr. C.M. Dalvi have been continuously involved in guiding students for competitive exams. A dedicated Career Counselling Committee was established under the Competitive Exam Cell to further enhance students' career preparation.
In the academic year 2015-16, many expert speakers were invited to deliver lectures, providing students with valuable insights and opportunities for growth.
The Career Counselling Committee was restructured in August 2016 to strengthen its role in supporting students. To enhance students' understanding of competitive exams, a special **exam** was introduced by the department. Each year, 50 students are selected for intensive coaching.
- Regular **articles on current issues** from newspapers are displayed on the **notice board** for student awareness. - A collection of **competitive exam books and magazines** is made available to students for reference. - Continuous efforts are made to provide an **updated knowledge base** for students preparing for various government exams.
